Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to everyone using Askofy: visitors, participants and organisations. Breaking it may lead to content removal, suspension or termination, and, where required, a report to the authorities.
Do not use Askofy to
- Break the law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Rules under it, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and DPDP law.
- Publish prohibited content: anything obscene, defamatory, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, or harmful to children; that impersonates someone; that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, or public order; or that infringes someone's rights.
- Spread health misinformation: do not present false or unsafe health claims, discourage people from seeking emergency care, or promote unapproved treatments.
- Misuse people's data: do not upload people's data without a lawful basis. Do not collect sensitive data that campaigns do not need, such as health records, Aadhaar, bank or card details, biometrics or passwords. Do not use participant contacts for marketing they did not opt into.
- Spam: do not send unsolicited bulk messages or excessive reminders.
- Cheat or fake: do not obtain certificates dishonestly, alter certificates, or present an Askofy certificate as a professional or medical qualification.
- Attack the service: do not probe, scan or test vulnerabilities without permission (see Security), bypass access controls, overload the service, or spread malware.
- Copy or resell: do not scrape, copy or reverse engineer the platform or its content, or resell access without a written agreement.
Reporting
Report abuse or unlawful content to grievance@askofy.com. We act on valid reports as Grievance Redressal describes, and on lawful orders from courts or government agencies within the time limits the law sets.
